Meet Dolly! At 4 years old and 30 lbs, Dolly is the perfect medium-sized companion with charming “Benji” vibes—adorable wiry hair included! This sweet, gentle girl has spent far too long waiting for her happy ending, and now she’s finally ready to find it.

Dolly and her sister Holly spent their early months surviving on the streets of Albania before being rescued and placed in a shelter. For three long years, Dolly waited patiently for a family of her own—something heartbreakingly rare in her home country, where adoptive homes are scarce. That’s why we knew we had to step in and give her the second chance she deserves. Now in the U.S., Dolly is flourishing in a foster home. She’s affectionate, calm, and gets along beautifully with people, dogs, and even cats. She’s housebroken, has excellent house manners, and seems to understand whatever you ask of her. While she’s still a bit shy at times, Dolly truly shines in the company of another friendly dog. A confident canine sibling will help her continue to come out of her shell and feel safe as she learns the joys of home life.
